you have to get running shoes, running shoes aren’t some random shoes that they label running with to sell. they are actually specifically made for running in many ways. running shoes have lots of support for your heel and your whole foot so that running on pavement is less hard on your feet. also they are made so that running is easier for you. if you were to use non running shoes for running you would increase your chances of getting an injury or problems with your legs and back. do NOT wear regualar sneakers.
definitely running shoes. i’d suggest Asic’s.
If you’re going to do any regular training, definitely get fitted for running shoes at a running specialty store.
They’ll help you find what’s functionally right for you as an individual.
