I have bad knees, and every time I run even for a mile my knees hurt after. It is usually not this bad, so i think it is my sneakers that are the issue (I have had them for over 3 years). Is there a type of sneaker you recommend for working out and light running?

I’ve been wearing New Balance 992s (and previously 991s) for some years now, but I was about to purchase a Pair of Brooks (Trance 7) and Nike (Shox RNG) online and needed size comparisons. I wear size 10.5 in the New Balance 992, would the Brooks and Nike run true to that size or should I go up or down in either or both? Thank you!

I looked on the New Balance website and on wikipedia and it doesn’t say when the shoes were originally launched. Does anybody know when they were invented?
