i just bought some new running shoes.(nike air pegasus 25).
I ran in them this week and now i have some horrible shin splints.
My coach says i should have bought another pair of asics, i used a pair of them before, but i have a new pair of new balance right now and i dont know if i should try them or just buy some new asics.

I have icky ones right now that are almost a no name brand.
I run track 6 days a week & am a short distance sprinter but my coach makes us run distance often.
I fractured my back about 6 months about and am healednow but need extra arch support and such to keep my back in tip top shape.

I run from late January all the way through mid November. I run about 35-45 miles a week 6 days a week depending on what my coach wants me to run. I never run in the rain or snow only when it is sunny. How often should I change my sneakers? Is once a year good, or what because my dad does not want to keep buying my new running sneakers that often. Also, I have another pair of sneakers not for running so I just use my running shoes while running.
