I have icky ones right now that are almost a no name brand.
I run track 6 days a week & am a short distance sprinter but my coach makes us run distance often.
I fractured my back about 6 months about and am healednow but need extra arch support and such to keep my back in tip top shape.
please and thankyou :}

I would go to a store and look for a shoe that is la bled for running. Look for a good name (Nike, Adidas, Saucony…) and try them on in the store to feel if they are right for your foot. It doesn’t matter how much you spend, but it’s worth it to get a $60 dollar pair of shoes if they work for you than get a $30 dollar shoe that doesn’t work.
Just look around. You don’t have to go to a running store. Just go somewhere that sells shoes. Keep the receipt and try to return them if they don’t work. If i were you, i would get your own arch supports to put in if you need extra support.
I got a pair of Nike running shoes for $25 on clearance, and they work great!
go to eastbay.com or look for a sale in stores. some nikes are less than $50. asics are good for most runners, not for me i hate them. i love nikes.
I would recommend going to a store that caters specifically to runners. They should only carry tried-and-true brands and the employees should be trained in finding the best shoe for you.
Personal opinion: you’ll probably need to spend at least $60 on the lower end to get a higher quality shoe.
